I had my lap-band surgery in June of this year, and I can?t say enough positive things about Dr. Liu. He has given me a new opportunity to change my lifestyle and become a new person!
Dr. Liu is an extremely skilled surgeon with a passion for helping his patients with their weight loss goals. He makes sure that you (the patient) understand the procedure and everything that goes on before and after surgery. My entire procedure only took 35 minutes and my scars are tiny! On the day of surgery, he makes sure you?re comfortable, and makes it a point to talk to your family members and friends about what?s going on?in case they have any last minute questions.
Not only did I have a great experience the day of surgery, but the aftercare is great too. Some of my stitches popped out due to my excessive tossing and turning in sleep, and Dr. Liu was able to take them out carefully so that I did not have pain or any additional scarring. The first adjustment (fill) I had was perfect, and I continued to lose weight without getting sick. Even though Dr. Liu is not covered under my insurance, I will continue to see him because of his expertise and compassion towards his patients.
