We stopped by here for lunch on a slow Sunday afternoon. With all the great BBQ places in the KC metro, we thought we were taking a chance. And we are SO glad we did! Three of us ordered a variety of fried chicken and barbecue meats, along with a number of different sides, so that we could get a good wide swath of what this place has to offer. EVERYTHING was absolutely delicious! The burnt ends were the best we've had anywhere in the city. And the fried chicken...I had to ask if they had hired my gramma to cook it up for them. In fact, the owner confirmed that it is HIS gramma's recipe and that he pan fries it in cast iron. Now, THAT is the way to fry chicken. Forget Stroud's...and RC's in Martin City has NOTHING on this place. If you like barbecue or fried chicken, then this is the place to go! Holy COW!!! I promise, you will not be disappointed in anything that passes your lips in this place. Great job!
