Review content:
When I first visited Steve's shop, I was very impressed. Steve took me around and told me about each car he was working on in there. He offers shop tours, which I think is good, and you can see that he has the facility and all of the tools to do a good job.
Cars is a big operation, only about a mile from my home in Marietta. They are doing a total restoration for me right now; we are in the early stages of the job. Steve's techs are good. They work in a consistent fashion, which is important.
I am most impressed with the billing system. The bill shows exactly what they did, how much time they spent on it, and what it cost. When one of the techs works on your car, he has to put down the hours he worked on it, and Steve's second-in-command notes the progress on each job every morning. So, you know exactly where your money is going. Also, they will work with you on payments.
Steve is a very hard worker. He is driven, business savvy, and experienced. He is very knowledgeable and his second-in-command knows the cars and work well, too. Also, I have looked around, and his rates are competitive.
