If I could give 0 stars I would. I am a plus sized bride who was dressed casually and my consultant was incredibly rude and belittling. Even though I had told them I was from 3 hours away when I initially made the appointment the first thing she told me was that I should ""come back for the new styles next month"" and ""just get an idea today"". I explained that because we were getting married across the country I really wanted to order soon so that I would have extra time for alterations. She finally acquiesced and said I should go browse around. I did, and she came back (10 minutes later) and I told her a few styles I wanted. Then she went into how the designers ""always only send them size 10s"" like I should not try on the dresses. I said that was fine I could just try the 10s. Then she told me again that I should browse. So I went and looked again. By then my friend and I were very annoyed. She was not helping us take the dresses into the dressing room and hadn't told us where it was so I just decided that I wasn't going to bother and waited for the consultant to come back. She finally came back over after another 10 minutes went by and I explained that at this point she had dissuaded me from trying on dresses. She went on in a false tone about how she was ""super sorry"" they didn't have many dresses. That was not the problem! I had a few dresses I WOULD have tried on had she not been so rude. I had no problem trying on the sample size 10s just to get an idea. Then the consultant actually told me that I should ""just go to Davids Bridal"". She never once asked me my budget (which is considerable) and I have been to plenty of other DESIGNER dress shops that have more then just size 10s. Not to mention I would have been fine trying on dresses in the size 10 samples if she hadn't have been so rude. If I wanted to go to Davids Bridal I could have figured that out for myself. I want a nicer quality dress and I am willing to pay (quite a bit) for it. But my money definitely won't be going to the rude consultant over at The Perfect Dress.
