Dr. Saben is friendly and caring, if rather abrupt or straight to the point, as others have mentioned. He takes the time to listen and ask the questions he needs to prescribe the medication that will help you, and he follows you carefully. He does not provide therapy sessions; however, he'll recommend it when needed, as he did with me. He was very interested in my input as to what worked well for me, what didn't, and how I wanted to go forward. He answers phone calls promptly, and will get you in quickly. His office in El Cajon is definitely ""no-frills"" but he never leaves you in the waiting room for long. I love that he doesn't wear a white coat. I would recommend him to anyone.
