I've heard (and experienced) that the service is great as long you don't cross the owner.
If he doesn't like you, he'll let everyone know as soon as you leave the cafe. whether it's because you put your money down too hard on the counter, or your coffee card is missing and you were on the last stamp (it's your responsibility, pay up, is the owner's attitude)...or whatever it may be.
But hey, the ambiance is gorgeous, the dogs are comforting and if you don't cross the owner, you're guaranteed great customer service!
Pros: good parking, nice atmosphere, nice dogs
Cons: expensive, customer service, no, not friendly
