Review content:
I'll add my agreement with the below negative comments regarding this outlet at Arundel MIlls. Last month, with new eyeglass RX in hand, I went to this store to get a regular lens bifocals and a ""free"" pair of prescription sunglasses. For years I have used Lenscrafters and have always been very satisfied with their service and quality of their product. This time I decided to use Vision Works. First of all the frames I picked were at $79 a piece, but somehow with the lens the the product now cost over $400. Coupled with the ""free"" pair the total bill came to over $800, BUT the bill was halved with deducting the price of the second pair. I could have bought the same product at Lenscrafters for half the price Visionworks charged (i.e. $200 vs $400). Stupidly and inexplicably I went ahead with the purchase. Now comes the service part: The salesperson told me it would be 2-3 days before the glasses would be ready. Three days later, without a phone call from them, I called them and found out the glasses weren't ready. It was finally 8 business days when I to called them again to learn that the glasses were ready. When I went to the store I found out that the glasses came in several days before. Lastly, not even a thank you when I left the store with my glasses. I would not doubt that this treatment and flim-flam is standard throughout the Vision Works organization. Too bad I never checked these people out on websites such as this before buying here.
