Review content:
Attending Diamond Light School of Massage and Healing Arts is one of the wisest decisions I ever made. ?The format of weekend classes with a week to practice in between worked beautifully for my learning style. ?The tuition is comparable to other schools but the spiritual focus is unlike any school I know. The curriculum includes essentials like anatomy, techniques and effective modalities, and skills required to run a successful practice. ?But it also submersed me in the question, ""What does it mean to follow the path of a healer?"" ?Diamond Light students learn that it involves dedication to personal spiritual growth. Vajra Matusow, director of the school, teaches massage therapy and energetic healing classes that comprise about 90 hours of the school's 500-hour program. ?She succinctly describes the 150-hour energetic healing class as a ""transformational journey into the subtle, energetic, emotional and spiritual dimensions of healing."" ?It is all of that and more. ?Vajra is an inspirational example to her students I have built a rewarding and successful practice with the education I earned at Diamond Light. ?When clients tell me there is ""something special"" about the massage they experience on my table, I blame Vajra Matusow and the heart-based teaching style at Diamond Light. Pros: Gave me the skills to create a successful career.
