I walked in to find some Japanese ladies having lunch, this is a good sign for a Japanese restaurant. I sat at the sushi bar and talked to the chef who suggested somethings that I never tried before. I read that the tempura is very good online, so I ordered that and was very happy. Most places in the valley are soggy and not crispy. This place has one of the best tempura around. I had yellowtail, salmon, and sardine sushi and was very fresh. 2 oysters and sweet shrimp and it was a very good lunch. I drive home on the 5 and will have to stop in for dinner. The staff is very nice and seems that they have a lot of regulars, I will be back in again and again. As one reviewer said, it's a hidden gem and truly is great food at a good price. Maybe the owner will open another location in Valencia, LOL!
Pros: sushi, service, tempura
Cons: No TV to watch the Cub game.
