Review content:
I was glad when I heard they would recycle my old oil from the oil change I just did myself.
As I walked up to the shop, I thought ""This seems like a good enough place. Why don't I just let these guys do my next oil change?""
I brought in 5 oil bottles; 4 were really full. The guy said he could take the oil only, not the bottles or filter. I thought ""bummer, but well, OK"".
As he poured out the oil, he was unable to judge the fullness of the bottles, and spilled oil over the outside of the bottles he would soon be returning to me.
I was handed back 5 messy bottles in a messy plastic bag and told I could not leave it the trash - that is not allowed. The oily bag would have to go into my clean car. Fortunate I had a nice clean box for it.
Lesson: Oil changes are done by people, not commercials. These are not people I want to trust my car with.
Pros: Got rid of my old oil
Cons: Had to bring empty messy bottles home in a messy bag
