It's a shame that you have to give more than 0 stars.
I am a huge fan of Indian food and enjoy trying a variety of Indian restaurants. Although the food at India palace wasn't too bad, the service was the worst I have ever experienced in the entire of the US (not just Indian restaurants, but all restaurants!).
I echo the previous person's comments. The attitude of the employees was nothing less than condescending, they were not at all polite to my family or friends and we struggled to get their attention to place our drink order and then our food order. This is the only place in the country where I've questioned if they put anything ""extra"" into my food due to their smarmy attitude.
I wondered if I'd been on an ""off"" night (despite them being not at all busy), so ventured back a few weeks later. Unfortunately, it was much the same. After the meal, I waited at the front desk for over five minutes to pay my bill (again they weren't busy). After growing impatient, I phoned their front desk phone and I couldn't believe it! Someone ran to answer the phone, before serving me..... only to discover that it was me calling. It was almost as though they didn't want my money!!!!
A few days later, I decided to venture to Handi downtown and what a refreshing change! Such excellent service!!!
I have many good Indian friends and have always experienced positive service, but Indian palace is not at all an enjoyable place to dine. They don't deserve my custom and certainly won't be getting it ever again. The management really need to take a look at their company and question whether they're really reaching their full potential as a company!!!!
