New Year's Day... Came here to celebrate the new decade with some bibimbop, and was pleasantly surprised to not see the hordes of drunken college kids that I envisioned would be here. Nope. These weren't the wee hours of the morning... It was mid afternoon on a federal holiday and the place was occupied by large groups of sensible adults and families with small kids. The largely wooden interior was clean with lots of light. There were tables with cooking surfaces, but we sat at the others. The bulgogi I saw on other tables looked yummy. The food was pricier than I thought it would be, but it was well cooked, and the banchan were good. I even liked the shape of the miso soup bowl. The service was excellent. But most importantly, and the reason they went from 4 stars to 5, they had the anchovies that I've been looking for for months. Yay! Pros: 24 hour Korean, nice service, good food Cons: so far away from DC
