Been coming to Galveston over 20 years, always eat at Gaido's. 12-8-04 we had most disappointing dining experience. Were put in a corner on side of dining room, even though it was early 6:15 p.m., plenty of seating in main dining room. Service was mediocre. Four people in our party, 2 of 4 did not get the foods they ordered. My shrimp was the color of light sand, not browned at all, not crisp. Food was very poor. Our last time to eat at Gaido's. Price was many times too high for the food we received.
Was Xmas and I had looked forward to dining where it was decorated and there were no decorations in the corner of side room where we were seated. I feel you should not have to request a decent table when you arrive early and they are all available. Most disappointing dining experience ever.
