Review content:
My brother is a resident at Colonial Hills and my sister was employed in the Activities Department for 2-1/2 years there. At first she was happy to work there and be able to see our brother on a regular basis. Her position was 30 hours/week. Her workload increased so that she had to (as well as others in the department) work off the clock in order to complete all required paperwork. Then she was required to work weekends and holidays so that, at times, she worked 9 or 10 days in a row. The ultimate betrayal came when she was called in to her manager's office to sign a paper after she had been ill. My sister wisely refused to sign and she was made to leave the facility. Her application and appeal for TN Unemployment benefits were both denied based on Colonial Hills' blatant lies. Management lies about its employees. Would't they do the same with the residents' records? Beware Colonial Hills paperwork.
Pros: Location
Cons: Dishonest managers
