Review content:
I grew up in Murfreesboro, and no matter where I've gone I've never had a doughnut as good as one from Donut Country. In response to mboroamber's claim that their service has declined, they are an extremely popular place and if you get there after their rush hour they are usually out of some very popular doughnuts. They aren't Krispy Kreme, their doughnuts are actually made by hand so they can't just turn on a machine and make more. That's why they are open 24 hours, they make fresh doughnuts every morning. Nothing's better than a 3 am Donut Country run and getting a warm, fresh doughnut. If you're in Murfreesboro and you haven't stopped by Donut Country yet you are missing out on a great experience.
The owner has always hung out at the counter and talked with the clientele. It's a classic hangout and the regulars are always friendly and apt to strike up conversation.
Even if you're in Nashville, these doughnuts are worth the drive. They are exceptional and you'll never be satisfied with Krispy Kreme after you've tasted a Donut Country doughnut.
