This is a good place for a ""complete experience."" While the steaks at Ruth's Chris or Brook's might be a bit better, Sullivan's serves a terrific steak in a beautiful room with live jazz in the bar. You'll feel like you got dressed up for a reason, because the room just feels fancy, without frills or pretension. And, as mentioned in the editorial review, get over yourself and try the iceberg wedge with blue cheese dressing. Iceberg's gotten a bad rap, but the moist crispiness of the lettuce with the tartness of the dressing forms a perfect counterpoint to the richness of the huge and perfectly prepared steaks.
