My daughter is currently enrolled at SRA and has been there 7 months. She has, on numerous occasions, told me that SRA saved her life. Before SRA she was spiraling out of control. The level of risky behavior was terrifying. Her chaos was threatening our family and we finally knew, after years of therapy and interventions, that she needed more help then we could provide at home.
Currently she is getting straight A's in all her classes, including the AP classes offered there. She has no more the 6 girls in a classroom and gets all the academic support she could need. She is currently taking a SAT prep class and will most likely do well on the test.
She has been working extremely hard on emotional issues and we have all seen tremendous growth.
SRA also works with the family as well providing family therapy via the phone and family workshops. These have helped on only my daughter at SRA but my younger child and our marriage.
I don't know how it was in '08, but I can tell you it is an excellent school now.
We found this school through an educational consultant and continue to recommend it.
