Review content:
We stopped at Fun City today for the first time. It was Horribly filthy in the kids play area. It looked like it hadn't been cleaned in years and hadn't been vacuumed in months! I wondered if they have ever had a visit from the health inspector ( they would probably be shut down it was that bad). We had our 84 year old grandmother with us (who is restricted to a wheelchair). She wanted to have an alcoholic beverage while she had to wait for the kids who were playing. They would not serve her because she did not have her driver's license with her. We spoke with the manager and he informed us that it is their policy to only serve alcohol to those that can prove their age and since it is around Halloween anyone can dress to look older. REALLY?? She is 84 and she looks 95, very feeble, completely white haired, very wrinkly, I seriously do not think someone under 21 could really pull that off with any kind of success. I do agree with carding people and not letting people drive drunk but this was completely ridiculous. She doesn't drive, she's 84, and she just wanted one drink. This place is under new ownership and I really think they have a lot of work to do to work out the kinks in their business policies. I don't think we will be going back any time soon. Denver has many great places to go and have fun at, this one is not worth the time or money.
