Review content:
Very fair and honest shop. Initially, I went to three stores at and around Arrowhead Mall to get a replacement battery for my wife's Movado watch. Quoted $40 and $80 (one year vs. five year warranty) plus tax at one store, $60 at another and the last store owner said he replaced batteries but the backs of Movado watches were difficult to remove so he would have to send it out to watchmaker. Talked to my mother-in-law to find out where she had her antique clocks worked on and she told me about New England Clock Shop and spoke very highly of them. She was absolutely right....they had the battery replaced in less than a minute and only charged $2.25. The tech, a very polite lady, asked me if I had a quarter when I paid her with a $10 bill. I said no but for her to keep the change as a thank you for running a store that did not operate on a principle of gouging their customers.
