Review content:
I went to rent a truck and was told prior to renting to not worry about topping off the gas tank. When I went to pay they charged me for more gallons than I used at an excessive rate despite explicitly telling me not to worry about it. They admitted to me that they charge extra gallons per mile because people stole fuel from them. When I asked why I had to pay this amount after they told me not to worry about topping off the tank the owner?s son stated to me that this was the ?customers problem? not his and then said ""Well I've been doing this for years and I?ve dealt with customers like you. You don't know what you're talking about"" and then continued his verbal tirade for another five minutes straight. It got to the point where I actually had to raise my voice and inform him that I would not rent from his business in the future while walking out of the store. There could have been a positive way to deal with the fuel charge issue because realistically it was not a huge deal, however this man took it to another level when he chose to get combative and start talking me down. As a customer and small business owner I?ve never been spoken to as negatively and had my opinion so blatantly derided as I did that day at Pastor?s Auto Care. A professional business would never tolerate an incident like this. Overcharging customers may be their policy but to go beyond that and start criticizing and disparaging a customer is completely inexcusable. Pastor?s Auto Care prides itself on being ?family owned and operated? I guess that means they don?t have to worry too much about how they treat customers because their job will still be there. If Pastor?s Auto Care customer policy is to degrade and talk down to their customers they will never get my business or that of anyone I know. My suggestion to those reading this is to avoid this business at all costs!
