Businiess name:  Shalimar Cuisine Of India

Review content:
I have been a lover of Indian food for over 35 years. I have enjoyed this fine cuisine in San Francisco, New York, London and Los Angeles. I have found a number of quality Indian Restaurants in the Los Angeles area; Akbar, Surya, Holy Cow & Bombay Caf? to name a few. However, I have struggled to find a local Indian Restaurant here in Culver City. Well, that changed at the beginning of this New Year! I was surprised one day to find that the former head chief of the Bombay Caf? had taken over the entire operations of Shalimar. Finally I could get great authentic Indian food in Culver City. Believe me Indian food lovers?.there is a difference in authentically prepared Indian food and places that advertise they serve Indian food. Chef Keshew Chahal & his wife, Jaswant know how to serve up authentic Indian food. I highly recommend this restaurant and suggest you try their lunch buffet or anything on their variety filled menu. They will cook to your desire including vegan dishes. On the Root Coalition scale of 1 to 5?Shalimar gets a 5! Pros: Authentic Indian food in all of Culver City Cons: Sandra's posting!
