Review content:
My wife and I have eaten often at Shalimar. In the past it was because we enjoy Indian food and it was convenient, but was not our favorite Indian restaurant. With the new management it has become our favorite Indian restaurant, and we will enjoy bringing friends there for lunch or dinner. Everything I have ordered since the change in ownership has been excellently prepared and delicious. The quality is far better than it was under previous management. The owner and chef, Keshew and Jaswant Chahal, are very friendly and accommodating. They take a personal interest in ensuring that their customers are happy. They have a very interesting array of chutneys, the nan is excellent, and our favorite dishes, including eggplant, spinach and tandoori dishes are prepared as well as we have had in the best Indian restaurants we have visited in Los Angeles. Pros: Excellent food, friendly attentive service, free parking Cons: None noted so far
