My wife and I have been eating at Frederick?s for over three years now. We try to eat there at least once every couple of weeks and there is always a new special for my wife and me to hear about. To be quite honest, this is one of the only restaurants where we change our routine and try one of the chef?s specials. The Chef de Cuisine, Francis Peran will never let you down! Even though they are very busy, they seat us as promptly as possible, and it?s usually Frederick himself greeting us with an open hand and making us feel at home. They have a large selection of wine, a full bar and the French / Asian fusion is wonderful on the pallet. The only thing greater than the food or wine is the service. Frederick?s is always on top of all of our needs when we dine there, and that helps make it much more relaxing and romantic for us. I highly recommend setting a reservation or doing a call ahead. They have a private room for larger parties, such as rehearsal dinners. I?m almost certain they cater as well. When you enter Frederick's, be prepared for the finest San Antonio has to offer.
