Review content:
Not knowing a good, reasonably priced, Italian place in South Lake Tahoe I asked two people at my hotel; the concierge and the bartender. It came down to two places; Scusa and Teps. It was a toss up. Concierge was adamant that Teps was better and bartender was just as adamant that Scusa was. I went with Scusa and was very pleased. The veal saltimboca and salmon scallopini were excellent as were the lobster ravioli and roasted garlic appetizers. My wife and I also shared a $6 salad as well and it was huge and very good; probably too big for one person along with a n entree. I can't compare to Teps because I have not been there yet. But Scusa was a great value at a great price. The staff was superb and attentive almost to a fault. I felt like I was at a high end restaurant but with reasonable prices (~$20 per entree). It's also in a quiet neighborhood but only .5 mile off the main strip. Highly recommended.
Pros: good and reasonable
