I've been on the architecture river cruise several times before sailing on Wendella. I thought I'd try something different with my recent visitors,however I highly recommend the arcihitecture tour over Wendella.
First, the departure time was 30 minutes earlier than the time I was given on the website and when I called. So when we arrived we were at the back of the line (i.e. bad seats).
Second, the construction of the boat was not ideal for a summer tour. The views were blocked from half of the seats, causing people to stand near the windows and block the view for others. The windows also cut down on the air circulation at the front of the boat.
Third, going into/out of of the lake took at least 30 minutes, so we weren't able to cruise past the Sears tower. They should factor this time into the schedule!
Very disappointing!!
