Review content:
We bought our havanese there. We are first time dog owners. The staff was excellent in preparing and explaining everything to us. We truly love our little boy. I would recommend this place to buy a puppy. Their grooming service is another story. This young lady Sarah used to work there and customer service was excellent. I had my dog groomed there one day while Sarah was still employed at that establishment, but she happened to not be there the day of my dog's grooming. I picked him up and everyone was overly polite and loving towards him. I could tell something had happened to him just by the way he was acting. When I got home, I noticed a large cut with dried blood on his hind leg. I called the store and they stated that I had to talk to the owner, who was unavailable - even though I had just seen him in there when I picked my dog up. The following day I called and Sarah answered. She heard my concerns and stated that she was truly sorry that had happened and proceeded to state that she would issue a complimentary grooming for the troubles incurred since I had purchased the dog from them and continued to use them for grooming and feeding needs. Sarah stated she spoke to the owner and that she would enter the notes into the computer and to bring him in at whatever time in the future I felt he needed another grooming. Two months later I went to the store asking for Sarah and I was told she no longer worked there. When I asked about the credit approved by the owner, I was told that there was no credit and that the owner didn't know anything about it. Personally, I believe Sarah did what she said and that the owner was too greedy to go through with the credit. I would rather that my dog not have been injured and no credit issued. I was further told that there was nothing they could do and that injuries sometimes happen. ( At least tell the owner about it and not try to cover it up !) And so, I had a positive experience purchasing the dog, but a negative one with the grooming.
Pros: excellent customer service
Cons: a bit pricey
