Review content:
Remember that part in Pretty Woman where Julia Roberts is treated horribly by the sales staff? Yes, it's like that. I needed a dress for a political gala in NYC, a very big deal. Right off the bat, I didn't like the way that they pressed me for how much I was willing to spend. I said that it wasn't an issue and to show me whatever. I was in my jeans and flip flops, my hair a mess, it was a saturday morning! They could not have been colder or more disinterested. They brought me ill fitting dresses that were on sale and said ""that should work."" At $1000 the dress shouldn't ""work,"" it should STUN! When I asked to see a particular dress I was told ""I'm sure it won't be right for you,"" in return they brought me a size 8 dress, I'm a size 2, on my worst day I'm a 4... these women are SO out of touch with fashion and reality. They only stay in business because of the large amounts of money parents are willing to spend on prom dresses. And sure enough when a mother and her daughter entered looking for homecoming dresses you better believe they were dripping and fawning. I discourage people from going here all because of the janus-like attitudes of these women (janus being the two faced god, not that I would expect my ill educated attendants to know that.) I will say that not all was lost, despite disliking chain stores I found myself at Nordstrom, where they have REAL designers and bought a gorgeous Cavalli for about $1,000... all I have to say is, Stars, Big Mistake.
Pros: watching them kiss up to a 15 year old girl
Cons: Everything else, including the mildewed carpet
