If you buy a used car, from Moore Nissan, in Bessemer, you'd better bring a lawyer and a notary? I bought a used car from Moore Nissan and was promised, in writing and without me asking, things would be replaced IF I bought the car (such as replace the battery because it was dead and replace the headlights because they leaked when it rained). The battery was not replaced with a new battery? They installed an OLD, WEAK battery which had to be replaced a few weeks after the purchase. Refused to swap the one they installed, claiming it ?wasn?t under warranty?? The FIRST TIME I brought the car in for the lights to be replaced, instead of replacing the headlights, they tried to fix the rain leakage with poor applications of red putty. When that didn?t work they piled on clear sealant and making a complete mess. The used car manager said, ""If this doesn't fix the problem then we'll see about replacing the lights"". It didn't fix the problem and the manager would never return my calls after that? Another issue, the car had fuel rail covers on the engine when I purchased the car. After leaving the car at Moore Nissan the first time, the fuel rail covers DISAPPEARED. No one would talk to me about what could?ve happened to them. I can't prove that someone from Moore Nissan STOLE them but it's very suspicious? Again, NO ONE would return my calls concerning ANY of these matters? While she was in the neighborhood, my girlfriend took it upon herself to attempt to have a civil conversation with the used car manager. She said, while discussing the problems, the manager became very dismissive, rude and even cursed her. She said, the manager had no trouble broadcasting every misrepresented detail about the transaction to her (or any customer within earshot) even though the dealer says they have a strict privacy policy. She said the manager called me every disparaging name he could think of, to her? The dealer could have offered an AS IS warranty, but they didn?t. If someone promised something they shouldn?t have, they could have come to me and tried to work something out, but they didn?t. The owner was asked to apologize to my girlfriend for his manager cursing her, but he refused. It's bad enough the dealer promised what it couldn't deliver; that the fuel rail covers were possibly STOLEN by someone at the dealership; but to stoop to picking on a tiny woman for asking a few questions, instead of facing me, that's low indeed. I wouldn?t trust Moore Nissan to sit the right way on a toilet seat. Much less give an honest sale or quality service.
