After buying and selling several homes using many inspection companies for buying and pre-sale inspections..Kevin Barre is the best inspector I have used. He inspects with a passion for his profession and couple that with his 20+ years of building experience translates to a comprehensive inspection. Not only did Kevin identify some major issues with the house that needed to be addressed..including crawl space wood rot, deck issues, chimney lean...but he also hones in on the very small details and makes recommendations for preventive maintenance and energy efficiency. Kevin does not use the canned software programs that most other inspectors which are just check off boxes with a brief text message...his reports are comprehensive reports that contain an overall assessment of the whatever he is inspecting. I am not usually one to write reviews because I am not easily impressed and hold folks to very high standards. It is a very easy to give praise and recommendations where they are due.
