I made a purchase this morning at the Stevenson Ranch Walmart (Store #2297), and I was extremely offended by the cashier's attitude. Her name is Carol and does not belong in customer service. She is rude, she is short with her words, she is completely abrasive! I was purchasing Similac formula for $5 each. I was using manufacturer's checks for $5. She refused to use them because the check states ""1 per purchase"" and claimed that the item value must exceed the amount of the coupon. First of all, ""1 per purchase"" means ""1 per item purchased."" I was purchasing 9 items, and I gave her only 6 checks. FURTHERMORE, your own coupon policy states ""If coupon value exceeds the price of the item, the excess may be given to the customer as cash or applied toward the basket purchase."" She verified with another cashier, who told her that I was correct. After that, she became even more offensive and rude - probably because she was mad about being proved wrong. Then I gave her 3 coupons for $3 off each. She tried to refuse those too because it said ""1 per purchase."" AGAIN, ""1 per purchase"" is ""1 per item purchased."" I bought 9 items, i gave her 6 checks and 3 coupons. I was well within my rights as a customer per your own coupon policy. And as a customer, I have the right to be treated with respect. I have never been treated SO RUDELY. If this is the way Carol treats your customers, she deserves to be stocking shelves NOT dealing with people! She was SO disrespectful!
