I found out about Reggie while getting my daily driver's wheels fixed nearby at Metro House of Wheels. I heard he had been around for a while, was focused on Porsche and was factory trained. If you have a 911 and do any PCA stuff you know it is a small world so I'm not going to mention the 2 or 3 other shops I've been to before but they were overpriced, very condescending and in one case just plain wrong!. Reggie was willing to do what I asked which was steam clean my engine and evaluate the source of some oil leaks. These 2 oild leaks ( oil pressure sending unit and an o ring for something else) turned out be on top of the engine and were fixed for less than $1000. I was told by an experienced 911 guy who was the ""choice repair person"" for a fellow PCA member who raced in Group 5 that ... His verdict 1) My car was in terrible shape 2) there was no way to fix the oil leaks 3) the only solution was to rebuild the entire engine. He made me come over and pointed it all out while the car was in the air on the rack .. he tried to intimidate me in every possible way .. he refused to entertain the idea that even if I wanted to sell it I should be able to know how bad the leaks were... Reggie is really honest and easy to deal with. My car has been there twice as I had him replace a starter also ... GO SEE REGGIE ... just talk to him and if you have had a bad experience with repairs on your older Porsche 911 ask him some questions ... I think you will see he is an honest guy ! I assume he works on newer 911 ( water cooled ) but you may need to ask him.. Also if you want to see a completely clean and spotless garage where everything is in order and all the tools are put up ... get ready for that pleasure too.
