My father was supposed to be in this facility for 2 weeks to regain his strength and get physical therapy. Neither of these things happened. Instead, he grew weaker and weaker until he was unable to sit up on his own. His meals put on the bed table about four feet from so he would be unable to get it. I began taking mom to visit my dad during meal times and end up feeding other patients in the dining room since the staffs choose this time to socialize amongst themselves. The response time to patient calls could exceed and hour often times he would end up using the bathroom on himself only to have the cnas belittle him and call him names, or remark that he should have held it. I would come in the morning to find him in wet clothes from the day before, never even changed into his pajamas. He was unable to reach his cell phone on the nightstand, yet calls were made from his cell phone on the late night shifts and during the early morning hours to numbers we did not know. We could never get the doctor (facility) to come see him?.but this doctor was able to diagnose ?heat exhaustion? over the phone when my dad was not able to sit up or stay awake. Chest pains were no concern either because that could be treated with a pain pill. I could go on and on?..my advice: If love your parent find a better more caring place to help them, after all, didn?t they always want the best for you? Pros: Location Cons: Rating this Place would be in the negative, but required so
