Review content:
I was horrified with my short experience with Norman Mini Storage. It was a situation wher I was trying to get my stuff moved quickly, due to having someone to help during that time period, so I called around to get prices. Norman Mini Storage quoted thirty five dollars for an 8'X10' storage shed, so I agreed. I made the mistake of not looking at the facility before I agreed.
I rented a Uhaul and moved my things. I got to the storage facility and called to find out which shed I would be renting. The people who own it live out of state, so they gave me a shed number and told me they would be sending my bill. The gates that lock the facility were "dummy locked", meaning it had a lock on the chain which was not really locked. I was immediately uncomfortable with that. The door would not shut and lock correctly. My friend had to beat on it with a hammer to get it to lock.
Needless to say, my belongings were only there for about a week. I moved my things out as quickly as possible, so I would feel more comfortable that they would be safe.
A week later, I received a bill for seventy-five dollars for one month's rent.
I would not recommend this service to anyone! My first advice would be to see the facility before agreeing to rent.
