Review content:
I am Cuban American that lives in CT. I wanted to get a recipe for Cuban bread. I am loyal person who watches Bobby Fray and find him to be one of the best tv food network host on tv. I will have to disagree in his recommendation of the La Sugunda Cuban Bakery. Not for nothing the service was less than courteous or friendly, for them to be the oldest Cuban bakery they should be more respectful of their customers. I thought as a Cuban that they would be warm and friendly as most of the Cubans are, but no such luck. The bread is 3' long and the taste is weak in taste and seems like it's old. The prices for the pastries were on the very high end for such a location, as one person who stated in their comment it was like you were in third world city. The correct thing is for them to be more considerate of the risk one takes to come to their establishment. Im left pissed off that I waisted my time in visiting a so called Cuban landmark, for a Cuban like me my expectation was very high but left very disappointed.
