I have been a patient of Family Medicine & Associates since 2002. Dr. Swanson is no longer with the group, but I have no experience as his patient. Dr. MacKenzie is very nice and thorough. He is ideal if your preference is a Dr. that gets right to the point and you are in and out of the office. If you need a Dr. that is incredibly compassionate and takes her time to know you personally and has an amazing ""bed side manner,"" then Dr. Patty Levan is the best in the business. She and her staff are never rude. I have seen patients behave badly, but I have never seen the staff or the Doctors be anything other than accommodating and caring. They make you feel at home and they all have a great sense of humor. My children love her. Actually, many members of our extended family are patients of Dr. Levan too. It is unfortunate when someone has a bad experience with a doctor, but doctors are human and have their challenges, their good days and their bad.
