This store is fairly new to the area and moved in directly across from the well established Home Depot in Spring. I checked it out a few times but found the employees to be less than helpful. This didn't bother me so much until I tried to get out the door in a hurry with a 99 cent purchase. There was no barcode and I would not be allowed to purchase the item (a sample piece of floor tile) without it. Despite the huge display sign visible to the cashier from where she stood, she ignored my questions ""could you ring it up as miscellaneous?"", ""could I leave the money and you can figure it out after I'm gone?"" I really was in a hurry. She did however speak to my child and told her to ""go get another tile with a barcode"" while I stood there wondering why I couldn't pay my dollar and leave. She waited on two other customers while I waited to pay for my 99 cent tile and by then I was asking for a manager. She disappeared for another 10 minutes to search for the missing barcode. I ended up leaving the tile there, deciding that if they couldn't get their act together for a 99 cent purchase, then they probably wouldn't do any better with an entire floor purchase. I'm sticking with the smiling faces and helpful people at Home Depot. Pros: parking in front, variety of items Cons: poor customer service
