Nothing fast food about their BBQ. I have been going there for many years. The rib tips are sometimes excellent, but VERY inconsistent. Not happy with rib tips? Take them back, unless you got them at the drive thru. ((
Everything else (except mushrooms) and i do mean EVERYTHING else is simply fantastic. EAT IT ALL.
However, do not EVER order the fried mushrooms. When i saw them on their menu and noted the extreamly high price, I figured that either it was a very large serving, or it was a house specialty which was some sort of large serving of hand diped hand picked really special mushrooms.
Wrong-o in fact it was carefully counted everyday frozen, smal mushrooms. For over $3.50. I figured it must have been a mistake, so i called management and there was no explanation, nor any apology. Just a flat out statement that they always carefully count every order to be certain there were only nine, and that was the price.
However, Grover's just changed hands a month ago. Still locally owned, so time will tell, hope everything remains excelent, but more mushrooms for the price.
