Review content:
What a great find for impecable italian food in the Twin Tiers area! The atmosphere is casual/upscale.When you walk into the restaurant you are meeted by an extremely nice host staff and brought to a well lit table or booth. The bar area is also a nice place to start out your evening with an apertif. The menu is well rounded and very affordable.Their prices are much better than Olive Garden and the food....well lets just say Olive Garden can't compete in anything! The chef at Tanino's is well versed in italian cuisine and the vast menu makes it easy to please even the most picky pallet. We ordered a pizza with pepperoni as an appetizer and it was perfectly cooked in the brick oven.I ordered the linguini with white clam sauce and splurged on having the baby clams. It was well worth it,as it was arguably the best linguini and clam sauce I have ever had! The next time I go I am ordering a clam pizza, which is not on the menu, but, the friendly staff said they are more than happy to make special requests for their diners. Isn't that a nice touch of class in a restaurant in this day and age of chain restaurants where you get what you get and thats it!? I can't say enough about this restaurant.Do yourself a favor and just go and I'm sure you'll fall in love with the food, the staff, and the atmosphere as I did.Oh,and be sure to leave room for desert!!
