Review content:
There is a quaint KC tradition of stopping by Gates on your way to a Royals game. I think that is an appropriate pairing. Gates batting well below 250 and almost everybody else is better. From the screaming order-takers to the lousy, fat-laden meat, Gates just doesn't offer a BBQ lover anything worth stopping for. Zarda's is just as bad BBQ, but the ordering process is sane and the meat is lean. ""Hi, may I help you?"" yes, stop calling yourself a BBQ joint.
