I COULDN'T DECIDE WHETHER OR NO TO GO TO COSTCO OR SAM'S CLUB TO PURCHASE A SET OF MICHELIN TIRES. IN THE END I WOUND UP AT COSTCO. I WISH NOW I HAD GONE TO SAM'S CLUB. I PURCHASED MY TIRES LAST YEAR, AND WAS TOLD THAT WITH MY PURCHASE I WAS TO RECEIVE A FREE TIRE ROTATION EVERY 5000 MILES. AFTER MY FIRST 5000 MILES, I DROVE OUT TO COSTCO AND NOTICED ONLY 1 CAR IN THE 4 BAY GARAGE. I WENT IN AND WAS TOLD THAT THEY WOULD DO IT BUT THERE WILL BE A ONE AND A HALF HOUR WAIT. I LEFT. ABOUT A WEEK LATER, I DROVE OUT AND AGAIN NOTICED 1 CAR IN THE GARAGE. I WENT IN AND WAS TOLD THERE WOULD BE A ONE AND A HALF HOUR WAIT. I LEFT. THE THIRD AND LAST TIME I DROVE OUT 2 WEEKS LATER, THERE WASN'T A SINGLE CAR TO BE FOUND IN ANY OF THE GARAGE BAYS. I WENT IN, AND THE ATTENDENT WAS BEING VISITED BY HIS WIFE AND DAUGHTER. HE DIDN'T WANT TO BE BOTHERED, AND I WAS TOLD THAT THERE WOULD BE AN HOUR AND A HALF WAIT. THE COMMON DENOMINATER IN ALL THREE VISITS WAS THE ONE AND A HALF HOUR WAIT! THIS IS OBVIOUSLY A PLANNED POLICY PUTOFF! I HAVE TOLD ALL MY FRIENDS ABOUT THIS, AND I WANT EVERYONE TO KNOW WHAT THEY MIGHT EXPECT BUYING TIRES FROM COSTCO. I SURE WISH I HADN'T!! TONY BARRASSO
