Businiess name:  Jardins Restaurant

Review content:
I've been dining at Jardins for a few years, and it's my favorite restaurant anywhere. The owner does a great job of mixing provincial and ""haute cuisine"". Jardin's staff is all French and friendly - there are no intimitating waiters or menus here. You can get a wonderful ham and cheese sandwich for lunch, or explore the refined and sophisticated sauces accompanying their entrees. I recommend the gazpacho soup - it's very crisp and refreshing. The spinach and cheese crepe is wonderfully smooth and complex - ask the waiter to pair a wine with it and take your time. This is a place where you want to hold the food in your mouth and experience all the flavors. The balsamic vinegar sauce in the shrimp dishes is like no other - bold but not tart, almost like a barbeque sauce. I sopped up every drop. Eric (the owner) is very discriminating about the wine list. I've never really enjoyed wine at other bars or restaurants, but the wines at Jardins are delicious. Let Eric pair wines to your meals if you're unsure. Pros: Great food, wonderful wines, professional service, real French. Cons: A little hard to find, but worth it.
