I have been dog owner all my life, and I have never been to a vet's office that did business like this one. In the last year, I have spent $4000 on my two dogs at this office, all because they keep me pushing me to doing more and more tests. When I recently turned one test down, they to me, ""So you're not interested in knowing how your dog is doing on the inside?"" Here are some examples of what they talked me into at my last visit. They talked me into cornea testing for my dog, because my dog has eye goobers (no more than usual or normal). This cost me $70. Of course, it came back negative. They still prescribed antibacterial drops, ands talked me into buying them. Then they talked me into a bacterial test on my dog's ear wax, simply because he has ear wax, but no more than usual or than normal. He is ten years old and has never had an ear infection. Of course, he didn't have one. They still talked me buying ear drops on top of his ear cleaner. I got out of my dog's checkup spending (by far) the least I have ever spent at this office: $210. I could have easily spent $500. I am, obviously, switching vets.
Pros: Physicians are good
Cons: Expensive, Pushy marketing, Feels like they have a $$ quota to meet
