Review content:
First of all, did not receive pleasant customer service from the moment I walked through the door. They told my friend to throw away her drink before they even said, ""Hello."" While I understand their need for you to not have beverages in the store, that is not starting on the right foot. At least take 2 seconds to say hello first.
Second, their ""Cash and Carry"" policy is crap! You get a discount but they will NOT store, press, or ALTER your gowns. So you immediately have to go to another places to help you out (read on and you will need the help).
Third, I tried on a bridesmaid dress and it fit perfectly but the lady insisted that I needed a bigger size because of a small pucker at the bottom of the zipper. I insisted that I wanted that size (as I wasn't wearing spanx at the time of try on). She had attitude with me and reminded quite rudely that there were no returns/exchanges on our gowns and that I must get the bigger size. So, she's the professional, I take her advice (all this before I learn they won't alter my gown).
When I received my gown, it was so big on top that I couldn't even tell it was zipped. I took it to get altered at a neighborhood alteration store. I told the alterations lady my experience. What did I learn from her? That I am paying too much money to get this complicated dress taken in, when they could've ordered the other size and she could have let it out that little tiny bit so there wasn't a pucker...and I would've saved $40!
If I am ever asked to be in another bridal party, I will ask if they plan on going to Atlas Bridal first. If they say, ""Yes,"" I will have to refer them to anyone else...
