Took my pups to CPC last week and received basically the visit I expected (as in: you get what you pay for). Yes, staff will be friendlier and vets will give you more time if you pay for it. Turns out both of my babies have Giardia and I was given a pill for them to take. However, I wasn't given any additional information what-so-ever, which is disappointing. Internet research tells me that Giardia is very difficult to get rid of, was likely passed on to my cats and can be passed on to my kids. Dr. Beer didn't offer any additional advice on decontaminating the yard, house, the GiardiaVax or any other precautions to take. He didn't even really seem all that interested in seeing the cats. For basic care, I think CPC is great. The entire appointment was only $145, which included a second round of DHLPP and their Rabies. For more in depth care, it may be more worth your time to see another vet. I have a return appointment, so we'll see how that goes. Pros: Inexpensive Cons: Too quick, hostile cats in the waiting room
