I am a teacher at an elementary school where several years ago the nearby Ben & Jerry's had given us coupons for free ice cream cones. The coupons had no expiration date so I figured they were still good. So I decided to bring my family to Ben & Jerrys for a special treat. Upon arriving at the store and presenting our coupons the store clerk had a very condescending attitude and I felt as if he were treating me like a criminal for presenting coupons from that store. I would have been more than happy to disregard the coupons, especially after walking a mile to get there, and buy some cones. However, the clerk's attitude was so awful I asked to speak to the manager. Unfortunately the manager was no better. When I asked for the name of the manager they refused, and accused me of yelling at them and threatened to call the police on on me. All of this for presenting coupons that your store gave to my school. I had frequented this business for the last 15 years but not anymore. I am very upset about this treatment and I will be telling my coworkers, school community, and other people not to go to Ben & Jerry's anymore.
I notice at the bottom of your page here you offer a coupon for the complaint. So why couldn't they honor the coupons that I presented earlier. So no, I do not want a coupon. I want an apology for the disrespect and humiliation they put me through in front of my family.
