Review content:
Before becoming a Krav Maga Houston student, I was deathly shy, timid, and lacked an enormous amount of self confidence. I had just finished Grad School so I had to do something to become more personable! A friend of mine did kickboxing and seemed to enjoy it, but I went and didn't really get that into it. I started doing some reasearch online, and found self defense/krav maga classes.. at the time I was like uhh krav what?! They had a special going on for a free session so I decided to give it a shot. I walked in to their facility, and I literally almost walked back out because I was so intimidated! I somehow maintained composure and went back in and started the class a few minutes later, although I was so nervous I thought I was going to die! In the first class the guy talked for the first 15 minutes, which I didn't expect/though was odd. The rest of the class they were doing all of these badass moves instructing how to defend against people approaching you in different situations at different angles which was really awesome. Seeing this was completely inspiring, because I was thinking ""Wow I want to be able to do that."" I have now been an student for over a year and Krav Maga has given me something that I never had before, self confidence and belief in myself, I literally thought that I didn't have it in me to ever do anything like that
