...That's the impression I'm left with after dealing with this outfit. Sure, the head gasket was replaced, which cost me around $550, but being unable to make it 5 miles from the shop without it overheating?? That's shoddy workmanship! The coolant system should have been bled of trapped air following such a repair. Any mechanic should know this and take care to do this before releasing a vehicle from the shop. Being told to, ""be careful and keep an eye on it"" did NOT leave me with a good feeling as I left the shop. Nor did having to stop 6 times to let the car rest in order to make it home safely. I had no other choice but to drive it home risking permanent damage to my engine rather than remain stranded at the side of the road in the dark. Unprofessional is a MAJOR understatement!!!
