I was recently seen for a workers comp calime. The dr I saw was amazing. Very attentive and made me feel like I was important to her. I wish I could say the same for the front staff. My purse was stolen the day after my visit, all of my meds were taken with the purse. When I called the office I got the run around for 2 days. On the third day I was directed to the office manager who told me that I should have been scheduled to come in for a recheck since the doctor would not refil the meds without seeing me. Also that I would need to bring a copy of the police report stating my meds were stolen. I was very unhappy-If I had been told in any of the previous encounters I could have very easily provided them with that information. However having just beenviolated by the purse incident I felt even worse when the office manager suggest I was lying about having the meds stolen. I work in animal health care, and it is disturbing to me that my patients recieve better healthcare than I do as a human. Shame on you! Needless to say I will NOT be returning for my follow up at such an unprofessional establishment!
