To those of you who had strong opinions about this company-- whether good or bad-- my recommendation is to document it online through the business bureau. HPK already has one complaint lodged against them, to which they did not respond, but the case against them will be a lot more compelling if people speak up. I am currently having a bad experience with this company, because they have been extraordinarily cagey about repaying a fairly minor charge they owe me-- and which I have tried to secure for the better part of four months. After reading these posts, I am nervous about getting my security deposit back when I leave. On the plus side, though, they have been very responsive about taking care of maintenance issues that have occurred in the unit.
Pros: responsiveness to maintenance problems
Cons: unprofessional with money
