Review content:
Tomb?s is the quintessential college bar. Just a block off of Georgetown?s campus, Tomb?s knows who its clientele and serves up everything right. Alums groping at nostalgia, parents wondering what exactly they are sending their 18-year-olds off to, and the raucous college set guarding hollowed ground, as if they owned the place ? which they do. Just take a look at the plaques on the wall behind the door filled with lists of names of proud seniors who completed the monumental ?99 Days? ? visiting the bar each day, every day, for the last 99 days before graduation. Congratulations, this is the real world. Until then, enjoy cheap pitchers of Busch Lite and Blue Moon, and small plate ?study snacks? for under $5, like salads, soups, and chicken fingers. A liquid education. And for those rowing aficionados, watch for oars that garnish the walls like so many painted wooden sprigs of parsley.
